Maintenance and Repair

Wear and tear will inevitably affect any piece of equipment over time, especially theatrical equipment which often operates at high temperatures and is constantly in use.

Items that aren't maintained regularly may start to fail before they should, causing not only additional expense but the potential panic of having equipment fail before show-time.

That's where we can help.

Our experienced engineers are fully trained and able to service and maintain a huge range of lighting and sound equipment, as well as rectify faults associated with the installation itself e.g. 'buzzing' audio systems, DMX failures, etc.

We provide onsite maintenance and repair as well as workshop repair where necessary. See below for further details.

We can also create a schedule for maintenance, providing reminders to keep you ahead of any wear and tear that could cause equipment to fail.

Onsite Maintenance

Our onsite engineers will visit your site and carry out a thorough service of your equipment - to manufacturers' standards. This covers items such as lighting desks, sound desks and dimmers.

Once onsite our engineers will perform various checks, firmware updates, solder checks - reporting back to you at the end of the day with what they have done and their findings.

Onsite Repair

If it just stops working what do you do? You can call us. Where possible our engineers will discuss the fault directly with you prior to attending site, to gain an understanding of what has gone wrong and what we might need to put it right. We will then send an engineer onsite to try and rectify the fault.

Workshop Repair

Some items can't be repaired onsite. Parts or equipment required means that they need to come back to a workshop. We will work with you on the logistics of returning the item to you.

Once received we will assess the item, then issue you with a quote for repair. If you aren't happy with the repair costs we will return it to you free of charge (excluding any shipping costs).

Lead time will vary depending on availability of parts and, to be honest, how busy our workshop is - but we will always keep you updated and be as transparent as possible.
